How this one plays
A colour-sorting exercise built for small hands. A sample shade appears and the player taps the panel that matches it. There are only a few controls and they are large enough for a child to hit alone, with no sudden noises and nothing chasing anyone.
What should interest a parent most is that wrong taps carry no punishment. Miss, and you simply try again. No red flash across the screen, no low buzz of the kind that makes a small child flinch and refuse to touch anything afterwards. At the age when pointing and pressing accurately is still being learned, feeling safe matters more than any score.
To get more out of it, change the routine slightly: instead of letting the child tap in silence, ask them to say the colour out loud before pressing. That turns the same session into vocabulary practice alongside the hand control, without needing anything else on the table.
