How this one plays
The dice land and you have a few seconds to decide what to do with the numbers showing. The pressure does not come from complicated rules but from a window too short to work through every option.
What makes dice games more interesting than they look is that they force two things apart: luck and choice. The numbers themselves are entirely outside your control, while what you do with them is entirely yours. Players who blame the roll every time they lose usually have not noticed where their own decision went wrong.
Play several rounds in a row and your own pattern starts to show. Some people play so safely they never assemble anything large. Others chase the big score every time and waste good rolls doing it. Neither is wrong, but knowing which one you are is what actually improves your play.
