How this one plays

A unicorn takes the paddle and bats the ball up into a wall of candy-coloured bricks. The rule is as old as arcades and still works: slide left or right fast enough to meet the bounce. The more bricks vanish, the more the gap above lets the ball loop and score on its own.

What separates this one from its older relatives is entirely the artwork. The paddle is a pastel horse with a horn, the bricks are soft sherbet stripes, and the backdrop stays quiet instead of flashing. The result keeps the sturdy old rule set but wraps it in something gentle enough for a young child to play beside an adult.

On a touch screen, holding a finger just below the paddle and sliding along with the ball is far more accurate than tapping in bursts, because the paddle tracks the finger with no delay. On a keyboard, park the paddle near the middle and only commit to a side once the falling angle is unmistakable.
