How this one plays
Fruit is thrown into the air in bunches, waiting for a finger to sweep through and cut it. The sound of the slice and the burst of juice are the reward sitting right there in front of you, which is why the rules need no explanation beyond drag your finger.
What separates high scorers from everyone else is the length of the stroke. A single long swipe passing through several pieces in one motion pays considerably better than picking them off individually. Players who wait for the fruit to bunch up before committing pull well ahead.
On a touch screen, the thing to watch is a finger resting on the glass. The system reads it as an ongoing stroke and the line drifts into things it should not touch. Lifting your finger after every cut is a habit worth building, especially once the pace picks up towards the end of a round.
