How this one plays

The scene accelerates every second and nothing caps it, which means every run ends in a mistake no matter how well you play. What is actually being measured is not a result but the gap between this attempt and the last one, counted in seconds.

That structure changes how the ending feels. When it is guaranteed from the start, finishing stops being a failure and becomes the natural close of a round. Players hit restart without needing to talk themselves into it, which is a large part of why this shape holds attention longer than it has any right to.

The one thing worth knowing concerns the very fast stretch near the end, where your eyes can no longer track individual objects. The only approach that still works is to stop looking at obstacles one by one and read the shape of the path instead. The brain picks up the repeating rhythm on its own, without putting it into words.
