How this one plays
Glazed doughnuts stack up waiting to be lined up and brought down a whole layer at a time. It looks like any other matching puzzle at a glance, but one thing is obviously different: the stages are much shorter than the genre norm.
Short stages are usually treated as a weakness. For a game opened in a browser tab in the middle of a working day, it is the opposite. Stopping points arrive early and arrive often, so anyone whose free time comes in small pieces gets to finish something properly instead of abandoning a half-cleared board every time.
The other thing that keeps it comfortable is how plainly each stage states its goal. You can see from the first second what has to be collected and how much of it is left, with no menu to open and no conditions to decipher. That clarity keeps decisions quick and removes the pause where you wonder what you were meant to be doing.
