How this one plays
Items lie scattered along a beach after the waves have retreated, and there is a limited window before the tide returns to reclaim the ground. You gather one piece at a time, and the distance between pieces is what eats the clock.
The heart of it is therefore not walking speed but ordering. The most valuable object may sit so far away that fetching it is not worth the journey, while three ordinary items clustered together may total more in the same span. That judgement repeats itself throughout a round.
What separates the pressure here from an ordinary timer is that you can see the clock. The waterline creeping up the sand reports the remaining span more honestly than a counting number, and the urgency arrives on its own without any warning sound.
