How this one plays

Soft jellies wobble slightly whenever a finger lands on them. Press a connected group of one colour and the whole cluster springs away with a short squelch. Unlike most of its shelf, nothing needs dragging into position here: a tap is the entire input.

Swapping a drag for a tap sounds like a small detail and changes everything about how the game is played. With no dragging, one hand is enough. You can stand on a train holding a phone and run a full session with a single thumb, which a game built around diagonal swipes simply cannot offer.

A second consequence is that slip-of-the-finger mistakes almost disappear. In a dragging game, one misplaced swipe can wreck a plan across the whole board. Here a wrong tap costs a single turn. There is less to regret, so sessions run longer before irritation sets in.
