How this one plays
Face-down cards sit in a grid and you turn two at a time looking for a pair. The rules take a second to learn; the difficulty is entirely whether you remember what you uncovered a moment ago and where it was. Fewer wrong flips, better score at the end.
Strong players do not memorise the whole board. They tie each picture to a rough position instead: the cat is up in the left corner, the star sits low and central. Human memory holds approximate places far better than it holds a numbered square, and it returns them faster in the moment when a decision has to be made.
If playing alone feels too quiet, take alternating turns with whoever is nearby and count who collects more pairs. Nothing about the rules changes, yet the pressure does, because every wrong flip you make is free information handed straight to the other side.
